We’re so excited to have you as a guest at our 7th annual Big Pineapple Music Festival!

Please read all of the information below to ensure it’s a smooth ride…

THERE IS NO PARKING OR DROP OFF AT THE FESTIVAL. To make it simple there are 2 options to get to and from the festival: Option


Option 1 Shuttle service or Option 2 Park and Ride service.

  1. FREE SHUTTLE SERVICES will take you to and from designated locations around the Sunshine Coast. This is a return service that runs at designated times. MAKE SURE YOU BOOK ONE OF THESE FREE BUSES SO WE CAN ALLOCATE THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF BUSES FOR EACH LOCATION! Please organise your journey to and from these designated areas

  2. PARK AND RIDE SERVICE if you want to drive close to the festival you can park and catch a free shuttle to the festival site. This service will run throughout the day/night. Parking charges may apply.


  • Remember to bring your tickets and ID to the festival - you will not gain entry without them, they can be printed or digital

  • Please be patient when arriving or departing from the festival as there’s many people coming and going just like you 

  • Ride sharing to the park and ride is a great way to help the environment, reduce traffic congestion and make travel friends. If you are driving in a group, please organise a designated driver

  • We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone that may be intoxicated, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, displaying aggressive behaviour or wearing coded bands as per liquor licensing laws

  • The festival does not accept responsibility for damages or loss of property nor injuries that arise through your own fault

  • Do not remove your wristband until the festival is over – lost wristbands will not be replaced

  • For the safety of all festival goers, The Big Pineapple Music Festival does not offer pass outs. This means unless you have a legitimate reason, once you leave the festival grounds you will not be able to re-enter

  • A cloakroom will be available on entry charges - Small Bag $5 (approx 20x30cm) - Large Bag $10 (Max 40x40cm)

  • All bags will be searched by security on arrival. Due to recent events patron safety is essential and no bag larger than 40x40cm will be allowed into the festival

  • Bring sunscreen, hat, insect repellent, warm winter clothing and raincoat. (It gets cold at night)

  • Bring any medication you may need eg asthma inhalers

  • For your safety wear closed in footwear as you will be in natural gently sloping grassed terrain

  • Should you require first-aid there are two first-aid posts on site

  • Avoid dehydration and drink plenty of water during the day. There is free water onsite

  • Drink responsibly. People who are intoxicated will not be served alcohol

  • Drink tokens are non refundable so please only purchase what you will use on the day

  • If you feel that you may be harmed by a substance that you or someone has taken, please look for the Red Frog Tent, closest First Aid Tent or friendly security guard to assist you

  • Look out for your friends and fellow festival goers

  • If at any time you feel your safety or the safety of others is threatened please contact the nearest security guard. We also have a hotline that you can call on the festival day/night

  • Police will be present at the event. Drug detection dogs will also be on site

  • Police will be conducting random roadside breath analysis so don’t risk it and spoil a great night out

  • Please respect the festival grounds and don’t litter. Including cigarette butts. Adequate bins will be provided at the festival

  • Please be aware that the festival grounds is a naturally sloping grassed amphitheatre and wheelchair access to some areas may be difficult


  • Alcohol. We have plenty of bars inside

  • Illegal drugs

  • Glass

  • Fireworks, flares, fire twirling paraphernalia (sticks, balls etc)

  • Metal water bottles and cans, sealed plastic water bottles are ok

  • Perfume bottles in glass

  • Skateboards

  • Boogie boards

  • Milk/bread crates

  • Chairs (Small camp chairs are ok)

  • Weapons of any kind

  • Containers of liquid fuel

  • Video and audio recording devices (other than mobile phones)

  • Professional still cameras (small still cameras ARE allowed)

  • Laser lights

  • Umbrellas (use a plastic poncho or a raincoat instead)

  • Water pistols

  • Protest paraphernalia and banners

  • Any other items considered illegal or dangerous

  • Strictly no animals (with the exception of service of assisted animals, such as guide dog)

  • Food. We have load and loads of incredible food options within the festival site. Please leave the cut lunch at home. If you have special dietary requirements just send us an email. The chances are we will have it covered by one of our food outlets.

Companion tickets can be arranged for those holding a valid Companion Card and have purchased a Big Pineapple Music Festival ticket.

The carer will be issued with a complimentary ticket equivalent to the ticket(s) purchased, the correct documentation must be provided.

Please give our team a call on 1300 438 849 and we can assist you. The team is available Monday - Friday 9am-7pm (AEDT) and 9am- 5pm Saturdays. 

  •  All Companion Card requests must be made PRIOR to the event
