PARKING – RIDING – STAYING SAFE

REMEMBER THERE IS NO PARKING OR DROP OFF AT THE FESTIVAL. To make it simple the 2 best options to get to and from the festival are:

Option 1 BUS service or Option 2 Park and Ride service.

  1. BUS SERVICES will take you to and from designated locations around the Sunshine Coast. (IT'S A RETURN SERVICE). MAKE SURE YOU BOOK ONE OF THESE BUSES SO WE CAN ALLOCATE THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF BUSES FOR EACH LOCATION! Please organise your journey to and from these designated areas

  2. PARK AND RIDE SERVICE if you want to drive close to the festival you can park and catch a shuttle to the festival site. This service will run throughout the day/night. Charges may apply.

    TOP TIPS

  • Remember to bring your tickets and ID to the festival - you will not gain entry without them, they can be printed or digital

  • Please be patient when arriving or departing from the festival as there's many people coming and going just like you

  • Ride sharing to the park and ride is a great way to help the environment, reduce traffic congestion and make travel friends. If you are driving in a group, please organise a designated driver

  • We reserve the right to refuse bus or festival entry to anyone that may be intoxicated, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, displaying aggressive behaviour or wearing coded bands as per liquor licensing laws

  • The festival does not accept responsibility for damages or loss of property nor injuries that arise through your own fault

  • Do not remove your wristband until the festival is over – lost wristbands will not be replaced

  • For the safety of all festival goers, The Big Pineapple Music Festival does not offer pass outs. This means unless you have a legitimate reason, once you leave the festival grounds you will not be able to re-enter

  • A cloakroom will be available at the festival.  All cloaked items are at a cost of $10

  • All bags will be searched by security on arrival. Due to recent events patron safety is essential and no bag larger than 40x40cm will be allowed into the festival

  • Bring sunscreen, hat, insect repellent, warm winter clothing and raincoat. (It gets cold at night)

  • Bring any medication you may need and ensure it is clearly labelled with your name/prescription

  • For your safety wear closed in footwear as you will be in natural gently sloping grassed terrain

  • Should you require first-aid there are two first-aid areas on site

  • Avoid dehydration and drink plenty of water during the day. Free water is available on site. BYO Water Bottle, plastic or stainless steel are fine.  Water bottles must be sealed or empty.

  • Drink responsibly. People who are intoxicated will not be served alcohol

  • Drink tokens are non refundable so please only purchase what you will use on the day

  • If you feel that you may have been harmed by a substance that you or someone else has taken, please look for the Red Frog Tent, the closest First Aid Tent or a friendly security guard to assist you

  • Look out for your friends and fellow festival goers

  • If at any time you feel your safety or the safety of others is threatened please contact the nearest security guard. We also have an emergency hotline that you can call. The number is located on your wristband

  • Police will be present at the event. Drug detection dogs will also be on site

  • Police will be conducting random roadside breath analysis so don't risk it and spoil a great day out

  • Please respect the festival grounds and don't litter. Find a bin and dispose of your cigarette butts appropriately. Adequate bins will be provided at the festival and designated smoking areas are the only place you can smoke
