THE MOVING STILLS

The Moving Stills have just released their newest single Gene, another shimmering summer alt track - with a nod to disco while maintaining their unique tone and the synthy swells that the Central Coast 4 piece have made their own.
The band have toured and gigged with Pacific Avenue, Teenage Dads, Ocean Alley, Lime Cordiale, and DZ Deathrays, and they've made their presence known on the live scene, appearing at Aussie festivals including Neck of the Woods, A Day On The Hill, Hidden Lanes, The Big Pineapple, Bello Winter Music Fest, Australian Music Week and Woodford Folk Festival.
The Stills have been keeping busy during the isolation period. Appearing on live streams with other local bands and working on new music - they have collated 16 songs so far for an album release set for later this year. They are set to release more music before that and play a bunch of shows up and down the coast and country.
The Stills quickly established themselves as a band to look out for. They've recently (Jan 2021), sold out a headline show at Byron Bay's Great Northern and put on a Guerilla show at a surf shop in Crescent Heads that drew the biggest crowd the town saw all summer.
