Ever since G Flip released her breakout single, About You, in 2018, the talented bedroom producer and skilful multi-instrumentalist's fresh take on indie-pop has made audiences sit up and take notice.

 

Once a drummer-for-hire, G Flip set her sights on song writing and production in 2017, when she locked herself away in her home studio and became a kind of musical hermit,learning to produce her own music with the help of YouTube tutorials.

After uploading About You to Triple J Unearthed, her life change overnight: a Best New Music nod from Pitchfork; rotation on triple j; coverage from NPR, L.A Times, Rolling Stone,Line Of Best Fit; millions of streams; and sold-out headline shows at home and overseas.

 

GFlip’s name also began appearing on festival bills the world over, beginning with eight showcases at SXSW 2018.

 

Fast forward to 2020 and G-Flip has become a household name in the industry.
