Big Pineapple Music Festival Terms and Conditions
This ticket is sold by Plantations Promotions Pty Ltd (ABN 37 516 253 211) who is responsible for the Event. The following conditions are both of sale (including any resale or subsequent assignment), entry and attendance at the camping site and the Event.
'You' and 'your' refers to the customer. 'We', 'us', 'our', 'Big Pineapple Music Festival' and 'Event organiser' refers to Plantations Promotions Pty Ltd its employees, contractors, volunteers and authorised persons. This agreement means these terms and conditions and any other conditions specified by us on our website and booking forms.
Big Pineapple Music Festival Terms & Conditions
• All tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except in accordance with the applicable laws in the region of purchase.
• The Big Pineapple Music Festival organizers reserve the right to withdraw, reschedule or substitute artists and may vary advertised programs, prices and venues.
• Tickets are to be redeemed at the event for wristbands in order to gain entry and re-entry. Wristband must be worn for the whole day. Broken or used wristbands will not be honoured.
• Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way or are not purchased through an authorized point of sale.
• All bookings and ticket purchases are non-transferable and may not be sold or transferred by you.
• The right is reserved to charge a fee for the replacement of tickets.
• The right of admission is reserved and is subject to the event organizer and the venues terms of admission.
• It is a condition of entry that by law you submit to a search of person or possessions on entry to the venue if we decide to take such action.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability of any nature for the acts, omissions or default of those providing services in connection with ‘the Big Pineapple Music Festival or any liability for any injury, damage, loss, delay or additional expenses which are incurred at or in association with this event. Where legislation implies any condition or warranty, which cannot be excluded or modified, that condition or warranty will be deemed to be included in this agreement. However, our liability for any breach of such condition or warranty will be limited, at our option, to the resupply of the services or the cost of having the services supplied again. In no event will The Big Pineapple Music Festival or its Stakeholders be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary or special damages.
• You acknowledge that neither the venue nor we will be responsible for any loss or damage to the property (including personal property such as bags, money or other personal items) brought to or purchased at the event by you or your invitees. You will be liable for any loss or damage caused at the event by you or your invitees.
• We reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event for any reason.
• You must ensure that you and your invitees act in an orderly manner when attending the event. We may refuse entry or evict you or any of your invitees if they are behaving in a disorderly, offensive or inappropriate manner.
• There will be no refund on any unused portion of tickets if you or your invitees are asked or forced to leave or if you decide not to attend any part of the Festival.
• Parking allocations are shown on the parking plans. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE.
Big Pineapple Music Festival RULES
Big Pineapple Music Festival is committed to providing a safe event enjoyable to all persons and therefore the following rules are in place. We ask that you respect the happiness and well-being of other festival goers at all times. Please be aware this festival is an over 18s event only, you will not be permitted entry if you are not over 18 years at the date of the festival.
ALCOHOL
• In the interest of patron enjoyment, health and safety; Big Pineapple Music Festival offers low and mid-strength alcohol beverages, non-alcoholic beverages and a large variety of food vendors.
• Any person wanting to consume alcohol in the licensed area or be allowed entry into the festival must be over 18 years. Identification must be show to enter the licensed area. Fines apply as per liquor licensing laws for persons caught in the licensed area under 18 years and immediate eviction from the festival.
• Any person caught bringing alcohol into the festival will be evicted by security.
• Big Pineapple Music Festival supports the responsible service and consumption of alcohol. Big Pineapple Music Festival staff is instructed to refuse service to customers who display sign of intoxication, aggression or argumentative behaviour.
• We ask that you do not drink and drive and that you make appropriate travel plans before the festival as we have been assured there will be RBT’s everywhere during and after the event.
• We ask that you do not drink alcohol outside the event perimeter or on the Nambour Connection Road and do not sit outside the venue to view the show. This will be enforced by the Local Police and Special Forces Police.
• We have a very good relationship with our Local Police and know they are very reasonable and friendly. Any issues will be dealt with by the accordance of the law.
IDENTIFICATION
• Big Pineapple Music Festival only accepts the following forms of identifications
a) Australian State or Territory Driver Licence
b) Passport
c) Government issued proof of identity
d) Victorian key pass
e) International Drivers Licence (must contain a photo)
• Overseas Australian student cards are not acceptable ID. Persons unable to provide one the above forms of ID will not be permitted entry to the event.
NO CHILDREN
• This is an 18+ event so no children are allowed into the festival
TICKETS & WRISTBANDS
• Any person trying to sneak in without a ticket will be evicted and not permitted to enter.
• Tickets are to be redeemed at the event for wristbands in order to gain entry and re-entry. Wristband must be worn for the whole day. Broken or used wristbands will not be honoured.
• Big Pineapple Music Festival staff will ask to see wristbands and may ask for identification in order to determine your age prior to entry to bar areas or service points. Failure to comply with such requests will result in refusal of service and removal from the premises.
BANNED ITEMS. WHAT YOU CAN NOT BRING
• It is a condition of entry that by law you submit to a search of person or possessions on entry to the venue if we decide to take such action.
• No alcohol or illicit drugs are to be brought into the festival site by law and will be removed. Refusal of entry will apply if this is attempted.
• No animals, glass, eskys, umbrellas, lasers, fireworks, weapons, video cameras or professional cameras are permitted on the festival site.
• Audio or visual recordings of the event are prohibited. Professional cameras or video recorders of any kind are not allowed unless representing media for the festival with prior approval. Small still cameras including digital are permitted but images may only be used for private purposes and not public display. Patrons offer consent to be included in film and sound recordings of the event and for these recordings to be used by the event organiser.
• Folding chairs e.g. directors chairs or deck chairs are no longer permitted in the festival grounds. Please be aware that there are chairs provided in the undercover area if you get there early.
• Picnic Rugs may be brought into the venue but must be kept in the back half of the park in all areas. Have these ready for inspection at the gate.
CROWD SURFING
For the interest of safety of all patrons attending the festival, crowd surfing is prohibited. Offenders will be removed from the festival immediately by security.
PARKING and WALKING
• Please park in the designated areas as shown on the parking plans. Unfortunately if you park outside the festival, along the Nambour Connections Road you will be fined by police. All foot traffic must be over the foot bridge and no one is to walk across the very busy Nambour Connection Road. Organise parking/transportation/shuttle buses beforehand and don’t let this be the end of a great night.
• Big Pineapple Music Festival Management and staff hope you enjoy the festival and ask that you follow the above guidelines to make the event a safe success
CAMPING
IMPORTANT: All the terms and conditions of your Festival ticket shall apply to this camping ticket; so please read those conditions in conjunction with this camping ticket.
• The whole venue is a GLASS FREE ZONE, so please do not bring any glass items as they will be confiscated. Please do not bring glass into the camping area, broken glass and festivals do not mix, consider your fellow humans feet.
• The campground is an ALCOHOL FREE ZONE and is unlicensed and our liquor licence states you can only consume alcohol on the actual Festival site. Do not consume alcohol within the campground. Please be aware of this policy and show respect to other festival patrons. The quiet and order of the festival campground and its neighbourhood will be maintained. No parties will be allowed in the camping area. Breach of this condition WILL result in eviction without refund. After all, everyone needs a good night’s sleep, so all that Big Pineapple Music Festival has to offer can be really enjoyed.
• Camping sites are allocated on arrival. Each person must have their own photo ID and ticket ready to present to Big Pineapple Music Festival staff. Tent sites are allocated when you arrive by our very efficient camping staff. You are not able to save spots for friends. If you intend to camp alongside friends you must meet up beforehand and arrive together. Please remain with your car & tent until you have been registered.
• Camping tickets are sold per person. Camping tickets are not transferable; you cannot share it with other people. Camping tickets are exchanged for wristbands which are non-transferable and must be worn at all times for the duration of the festival.
• You do not have an unlimited amount of space for your camp setup, a reasonable sized tent for the amount of people staying in that tent only, will be allowed. eg: four adults camping then a 6 man tent is deemed reasonable. Please email the office on info@bigpineapplemusicfestival.com if you are unsure whether your tent setup is suitable.
• Camping tickets are separate to event tickets. You will need two tickets, one to camp and one to gain entry to the festival. You cannot purchase a camping ticket without having a festival ticket; the two tickets must match up eg: if you have a Saturday festival pass you must also have a Saturday Camping pass.
• All 1 day campers must only arrive after 7am on the first valid day stated on their camping ticket and must depart the campsite by 10am on the day their ticket becomes invalid.
• Entry for set-up and arrivals to the campsite are from 3-9pm on Friday 19th April and 7am till 12 midday on Saturday 20th April. You will not be able to bump-in camping outside of these times.
• Your person, possessions and motor vehicle will be searched for prohibited items including ALCOHOL, GLASS, WEAPONS, ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES or any item the Event organizers consider may be used in an illegal or offensive manner and may be confiscated. Refusal to consent to a search WILL prevent entry to the camping ground without refund.
• Due to limited access to/from the campsite and to avoid traffic congestions, no vehicle may be parked next to your tent - car pooling is advised. Vehicles can be parked in the designated parking area inside the camping site. Vehicles will not be allowed to come and go from the campground parking site. If you do need to move your vehicle for any reason, you will not be able to bring it back inside the campground, at which point you will be directed to park your vehicle in the Big Pineapple Music Festival car park , this may incur a small daily fee. There will be plenty of buses going to the nearby towns of Nambour & Maroochydore on a frequent basis.
• The 1 day camping will allow you to camp for 1 nights from 7am Sat 20th of April until 10am Sunday 21st of April 2012.
• NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING ALLOWED IN THE Big Pineapple Music Festival CARPARK!! No campervans or wicked vans will be allowed overnight in the car park; if you want to camp onsite you must buy a camping ticket or stay at a campsite nearby. The car parks are patrolled hourly; any attempt to camp overnight without a ticket will result in a $50 fee.
• On departure of the campsite please make sure all your belongings, camping equipment and vehicles are removed.
• There is an extra charge for those bringing Winnebago’s, large caravans, camper trailers due to the extra space that they inevitably take up.
• There will be separate designated camping areas for camping. Therefore, if you are arriving with a group and the members of your group have different camping ticket types, you will not be able to camp next to each other.
• In your camp area there will be a designated Camping Marshall who will be available for any questions you have, or to help you with other needs. If you have any problems please don’t hesitate to contact your Camping Marshall in your area.
• Animals are not permitted on the camping or event grounds.
• Open fires are not permitted. We have Fire Marshalls on site that will be checking your setup to ensure safety. We also do not allow open gas burners/BBQ’s for cooking. There will be plenty of food stalls
• Security personnel and Big Pineapple Music Festival camping staff will undertake regular patrols of the camping area. Security phone number will be on your wristband, don’t hesitate to call it.
• The use of fireworks in the campground or festival site is strictly prohibited. Any person using fireworks will be ejected from the campground and the festival.
• Big Pineapple Music Festival is an all-weather Festival. The Festival will go ahead Rain, Hail or Shine.
• Please respect the site and your fellow campers. Any unruly behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in your removal from the site. 24 hour security is on hand to ensure the safety and amenity of all campers.
• The promoter or venue shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, injury or damages sustained entering, or on the site. Don’t leave valuables in your tent. Lock them out of sight in your car, or even better, do not bring laptops, jewellery or expensive items to the Festival – do you really need them?
• Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced.
• Tickets may not, without the prior written consent of Big Pineapple Music Festival be resold at a premium or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods and services. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the bearer of the ticket will be refused admission.
• Plantation Promotions Pty Ltd cares for the environment and community. Please be respectful and place any litter in the recycle or other bins provided around the venue. Be waste and water wise - thank you.
