After two successive years of stellar line-ups and sold-out crowds. Queensland's picturesque Sunshine Coast’s Iconic Big Pineapple is set to play host to the 3rd almighty Big Pineapple Music Festival on the 30th May 2015.(Subject to Sunshine Coast Council Approval)

It's going to be HUGE!

Set against the backdrop of QLD's iconic Big Pineapple, the 2015 Big Pineapple Music Festival will welcome to the main stage music heavyweights John Butler Trio, The Jezebels, Violent Soho, Jebediah and Thundamentals alongside Dune Rats, Coin Banks, Sarah Howells, Timberwolf, The Beligerants, Dallas Frasca, Drawcard, Karl S Williams, Sahara Beck, Dubarray, The Dawn Chorus, The Hi Boys, In2nation, and a special Tripe J Unearthed guest.

Whether it's the magical energy that radiates from the pristine, tree-lined surroundings, or the laid back atmosphere that brings out the best in the performers and crowds alike, there's a special vibe to the one-day event that continues to attract punters from all corners of the country. And with one of Australia's most scenic pockets only a short drive away - the stunning stretch of beaches from Noosa to Caloundra, as well has the lush Sunshine Coast hinterland - it's no wonder that festival goers plan a trip around the Big Pineapple Music Festival.

The last few years have seen the likes of Birds of Tokyo, Bliss N Eso, Grinspoon, Art Vs Science, The Living End, British India, Sticky Fingers and many more of Australia's finest bands blow the roof off the Pineapple Fest. 2014's impromptu guitar dual between Dan Mac (Art Vs Science) and Chris Cheny (The Living End) left the 10,000-strong crowd on a massive high that will be remembered for years to come.

The new site, which is surrounded by lush forest and countryside, is located 500 metres across the road from the previous venue and will included three stages, camping grounds for 2500 people and amply car parking.

Festival organiser, Mark Pico says, "We were given the opportunity to move to the land just across the road, which now gives us a stunning panoramic view to the main stage area. We also gained tow more beautiful areas for our smaller stages, double the site space, and the camping is now very close by - bringing the whole festival together."

With an impressive line-up that celebrates our country;s local talent, plus more artists to be announced, the pineapple promises to bring the goods for an unbeatable music experience in 2015.
